Our life when Jason is away.....

Hi All! Well, Jason has been at work since Monday a.m. and the kids have definitely been "kids". Wow, I am learning every day how Ty & Shelby have such different personalities! Even at 16 months I can see how different their traits are.

Lets see.....in the past 3 days, I've found Tyler trying to put his 18month doggy Halloween costume on, which he didn't even get his leg in, and Shelby has climbed on top of the bathroom counter, up the oven using the broiler handle, gotten into all our night stand drawers (while I was showering), and stolen cookies from the pantry! Seriously during all these events my eyes were off of them for seconds! Shelby is fast and intentional. My guess is she'll be climbing out of her crib within 3 more months. We'll see if I'm right. Ty and I decided to put Shelby in his doggy costume and he wore his 2T Tiger costume (still way too small).

Other than chasing her and keeping Ty busy with crafts, T-ball, etc. not much to report. I had a wonderful Mother's Day that began on Saturday with a manicure/pedicure, then awoke Sunday to a french toast breakfast in bed. So fun!
Jason and I have begun a new workout program, P90X. Some of you may heard of it. It's kicking my BUNNS, but awesome! It's only been 3 days, but I swear I see a difference! HA! At least I can definitely feel something!
I pray you are all healthy and happy and were loved on or loved someone on Mother's Day. Love to all....The Bunn's

Our Baby is 16 months old today!

I know, I know, 16 months is not really a "milestone" Birthday, but today is the day I declare that Shelby can walk!! Yippeee. It's official. She actually prefers to walk rather than crawl. It's amazing what can happen in just a week. My poor mom had been working with Shelby all winter, and as soon as she leaves for Fish Camp, it happens. :) Ty keeps yelling at me, "Mama, mama, Shelby is walking!". Hurry home daddy......she wants to show you her stuff.

About time for an update......

Goodness...I've just been to busy with many of my favorite people to take time to type all of my thoughts and happenings out. March & April have brought so many wonderful times and I'm so thankful that my love tank is so full.
Beginning in March, we had the honor of celebrating Grandpa Bunn on his 90th Birthday! I hope that is a reflection of Jasons life span! Great party Bunns. Carli and I then headed to Kingsburg to kick off a great two weeks in Shaila's life with her Bridal Shower. What a gorgeous day the Lord gave us. It was filled with lots of yummy food and laughter to burn some of it off!
April was kicked off by our annual camping trip with my side of the family. We headed for Morro Bay this year. Great weather and great company. We had so much fun, but came home and put the trailer up for sale!! No reflection on our company, just too much work right now. Gees, can someone just head me towards a resort in the future! I'm not ashamed of it, either. LOL. We just really enjoy great pools and someone else cleaning up. Anyone in a market for a trailer??!
A few days after we got back one of my best friends, Jenni, flew in from Austin with her two girls to kick off the wedding events! We all headed towards Kingsburg and began our duties of cooking, cleaning, decorating, and relishing in the blessings of friendships that have been through a lot, but will always be steadfast. So much laughter and singing. Thanks girls for the memories and congratulations Shaila Brandon! A true testament to Gods Faithfulness and love for His children.
We enjoyed a fabulous Easter with a great service, then a wonderful relaxing day. It was my Birthday too, which made it doubly special. Jenni, Carli, Nana, my Mom, and all are kids went to the park to play and decorate and hide eggs with the kids. My bffs surprised me with a yummy chocolate cake! After eating cake :), my family went to have a wonderful steak dinner prepared by my mom. What a sweet ending to a day.
We are now getting set to start T-Ball on Saturday with Tyler and winding down the year of MOPS. Many fun times to be had. I must add, I feel so blessed, even more than normal, for the teaching of the Word lately at church. It is such an awesome thing to anxiously await every weekend to learn more and more about God. What an awesome place He has put Jason and I.

Well......Jason and I thought it was about time to introduce the NEW member of the family:

Jason's mid-life crisis, a 1965 Chevy Cheville. Just kidding about the mid-life crisis, he said I could say it. Ha, ha! He has always wanted a muscle car and finally made his dream come true this past week. He found it on Ebay, Ty and him went to San Francisco to see it, then he and I took a weekend away and went to get it. Last Sunday we drove it down Highway 1. We had so much fun! It's so fun to see him having a ball with it. Ty's pretty into it too. You can call or email him for more info, but we wanted to at least introduce it. :)

Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day
With little time to stop and pray
For life's been anything but calm
Since You called on me to be a mom
Running errands, matching socks
Building dreams with building blocks
Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes
And other stuff that children lose
Fitting lids on bottled bugs
Wiping tears and giving hugs
A stack of last weeks mail to read
So where's the quiet time I need?
Yet when I steal a minute, Lord
Just at the sink or ironing board
To ask the blessings of Your grace
I see then, in my small one's face
That you have blessed me
All the while
And I stop to kiss
That precious smile

What to do??

Just thought I would write all these conflicting feelings I have. Isn't it true once you write things down you feel much more rational about your decisions? You know, doing pros & cons? Anyway, I've been struggling inside for the past few weeks about what to do regarding Tyler's schooling next year. I just want to make sure that our decisions are based on him and not based upon anything selfish. Meaning wanting him with me more or maybe wanting more time free. It could go both ways.

There are so many options and with having the privilege of Co-leading MOPS next year I know my time will be much more stretched. Hence, now begins my life of choosing between all the activities that face us as our kids get bigger.

So far, the only answer I have come up with is, "God will reveal it to me". So, I'm going to devote my time in the word and in prayer and look for any signs of answers.

Ok, I feel a little better now that it written. Sorry for the rambling. :)

Merry Christmas!
