Celebrating Grandma Rachel

On Sunday Jason's Granmother, Rachel, went to be with the Lord. Her passing was quite sudden, but as people get older seems to become eminent. No matter what, it's never easy. One amazing blessing is that Carol, Jason's mom, happened to be out here on vacation with us. I'm still amazed at how that worked out. God is good. So, the kids, Jason, and I are now in Hemet and we will Celebrate her life with the family today. She was loved by so many.

Below is a scripture that was added to a memory album created for her. She loved the Lord and knew he was "preparing a place for her".

Jesus said to his disciples: 'Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going.' Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?' Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
